Prom is an exciting and memorable experience in Hawaii, and getting ready for it can be just as fun. However, it can also be overwhelming, especially if it's your first time. To help you prepare, here are some tips to make sure you have a great time at prom:

1. Plan ahead: Start preparing for prom a few months before the big day. Decide on your dress, hair, and makeup well in advance. This will give you plenty of time to find the perfect outfit and schedule appointments with your hair stylist and makeup artist.
2. Choose the right dress: Your prom dress should make you feel confident and comfortable. It's important to choose a dress that flatters your body type and reflects your personal style. Try on different styles and colors until you find the perfect one.
3. Get your hair and makeup done professionally: Professional hair and makeup can make all the difference on prom night. Schedule appointments with a hairstylist and makeup artist well in advance to ensure availability. Be sure to bring pictures of the style you want so that they can recreate it for you.
4. Don't forget about your skin: Start taking care of your skin a few weeks before the prom. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy foods, and avoid sugary and oily snacks. Use a gentle exfoliating scrub and a moisturizer to keep your skin looking its best.
5. Be comfortable: Prom can be a long night, so it's important to be comfortable. Wear comfortable shoes that you can dance in, and bring a small clutch with your essentials, such as your phone, money, and lipstick.
6. Coordinate with your date or friends: If you're going to prom with a date or a group of friends, coordinate your outfits and transportation to make sure you arrive in style.
7. Practice posing for pictures: Prom night is all about taking pictures and creating memories, so practice posing in front of the mirror to find your best angles. You can also practice with your friends to get some fun and creative shots.
8. Have a backup plan: In case something goes wrong, have a backup plan ready. Bring extra bobby pins, a mini sewing kit, and a small bottle of perfume in case you need to freshen up throughout the night.
9. Have fun: Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the experience. Prom is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so make the most of it and create memories that will last a lifetime.

The happy couple choose to celebrate there wedding with 100 of their closest friends and family members. They wanted an elegant tropical vibe mixed with a European Inspired architecture, and they crushed it! 

This couple celebrate their love by having a Destination Wedding at Turtle Bay Resort located at the North Shore of Oahu. They invited 150 of their closest friends and family members, and had a blast at their wedding.

Here is a glimpse of what the morning looked like: 

SPAM MUSUBI...a local staple for breakfast, lunch, and dinner lol, along with japanese kit kats :)  

We did the bride's hair and makeup, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and her bridesmaids.
The bride chose a natural makeup look without lashes, and had a low updo with a Haku Lei (Flower Crown). 

The wedding aesthetics: tropical bohemian vibe with red, greens, yellow, orange and white.

Their attire is relaxed, but polished.

The ceremony and reception was located on the beach at the Turtle Bay Resort at North Shore Oahu. 

The bride and groom exuded so much joy on this day, it had us smiling from ear to ear seeing them this happy. 

This couple originally had their wedding day scheduled for 2020...fast forward to 2022 and they were finally  able to have their DREAM HAWAII WEDDING! They wanted a venue that had majestical mountain and a gorgeous ocean view. Kualoa Ranch checked the box!

It's not officially summer yet, but here are some tips for all you summer Brides.

Tip #1 :
Wear a dress with a light weight fabric with a slightly loose fit.

Tip #2 :
Pair your look with a stylish hat!
Most of you may not be use to this idea, but we dare you to be brave and try a few styles out
to see if it fits your aesthetics.

Tip #3:
Carry a decorative fan to help with the 98 degree heat. 

Tip #4:
Stand in the shade with any moment you get. 
Get behind a nice tree lol, it is also great for a photo op. 

Tip #5:
Stay hydrated!
Take sips of water every 30 mins/45 mins

Lila normally does her own makeup, but this day she decided to get her makeup done and wanted something natural.
